Also known as the Fragrant Leaf. Jasmine is, without a doubt, one of the world's great teas. China produces seven quality grades of Jasmine tea, with the highest quality being Yin Hao. It has an intoxicating aroma and a balanced and delicate flavor. Will provide multiple infusions that do not fade in flavor.
Steeping Instruction: Brew 1-2 teaspoon full of tea leaves in 5 ounces of spring water (160-175°F)for 2-3 minutes. Can be reinfused several times by gradually increasing infusion time and water temperature. Highly Recommended: Use a Gaiwan Cup to get the best brew from your Jasmine eta leaves. Larger brews: A steeping ceramic cup or covered cup is recommended for steeping in order to appreciate the tea leaves. This tea may be best served gong fu style with a small Yixing clay teapot. Fill a pre-warmed pot 1/4 to 1/2 full with tea leaves and cover with hot water (160-175°F) and leave to infuse for 30 seconds to 2 minutes.
